Be in with a chance of winning a free exhibition on Brick Lane, coinciding with other major London student shows.

We’ll provide an opening night with industry guests.

Get the chance to sell your work through our exhibition print shop.

At Loupe and The Brick Lane Gallery, we’re proud to promote emerging artists. This year we’ve joined forces to create ‘Another Graduate Show’ giving students and recent graduates the chance to have their work exhibited in a group exhibition at the Brick Lane Gallery in London, free of charge.

We realise the importance of giving new photographers a platform, and yet we’re also aware of the financial burden and stress of self-funded grad shows. Our answer is to offer up to 10 outstanding photographers the chance to exhibit their work in Loupe’s own Graduate Show, with no costs whatsoever. This includes no fee for submissions, and thanks to our friends at creativehub, no printing costs either.

To make our open call as inclusive as possible, we also invite anyone studying for qualifications prior to University, those from non-photographic courses, and those who have studied within the last two years.

To provide exposure for as many photographers as possible, we will be selecting a short list from the submissions. These shortlisted photographers will have the opportunity to sell their work through the Another Graduate Show online print shop, provided by creativehub.

Just like our in-print magazine, we welcome submissions from photographers working in any genre and format of photography. You will have your work seen by our handpicked panel of industry judges who will select our shortlist and final exhibiting photographers.

Deadline: Midnight Sunday 19th May

Each image entered must be 300dpi and saved as .jpg, .tiff or .png files. If selected for the exhibition we will print the files that you have uploaded. If we are unable to print your files you may risk being excluded from the exhibition, so please ensure that the images you submit are print ready.

You may submit up to 12 images. You can choose to submit individual images for consideration, or a selection from a series. Please ensure that you state in your image description whether the image is an individual piece or part of a series, please indicate viewing order if appropriate.

Once you submit your entry you will not be able to amend it. We will only accept one entry per photographer.

The final deadline for submissions is Sunday 19th May 2019 at Midnight. Judging will commence straight after the deadline. The judges will select a shortlist, and up to 10 winning photographers who will exhibit at The Brick Lane Annexe Gallery.

Please be aware that the judges will not necessarily select all of a winning submission to exhibit. You will be made aware which of your images have been selected for the exhibition when the winners are announced.

Digital files of the winning images will be created for press and publicity purposes.

Successful entries will be exhibited in Loupe’s group photography show ‘Another Graduate Show’, at The Brick Lane Gallery in East London, from Wednesday 19th June – Sunday 23rd June 2019. There will be a launch event on the evening of Wednesday 19th June 2019.

Prints will be supplied by creativehub, at no cost to the photographer. Winning photographers must be available to discuss printing with the Loupe Team.

Photographers may keep their prints after the exhibition, but if they wish to do so they must be collected or have arrangements made to collect on Monday 24th June.
